6Connects is a platform for connecting customers with courier companies. Customers can send consignments through the application. They can choose from different services offered by the courier companies. Once the customer placed an order, the courier company will get notified. They can also choose the truck drivers for the delivery. The application is incorporated with the features that areessential for the successful execution of parcel delivery –organization management, order management, payments accounts, address book etc. 6Connects revolutionizes the way consignments are picked up and delivered.

CHALLENGES

& SOLUTION

The application included with a bidding feature for the customer (if the customer do not want to use recommended services, they can opt for bid). The ‘bidding’ and ‘recommended services’ work by analyzing the consignment, delivery time, region and availability of the courier company. The bidding alone was a complex system. Our team developed an advanced algorithm for the working of bidding.

CREATION

The application is developed in codeIgniter framework and angular js. We took two months for the development. The application is still developing with advanced features.
